Cả hai dạng hiện tại hoàn thành này đều thường được sử dụng để nói đến sự dịch chuyển, di chuyển của chủ thể nhưng không phải ai cũng nhận ra được sự khác biệt rất nhỏ hoặc nhầm lẫn giữa cách dùng của hai phân từ hai “gone” và “been”.

…has/have gone to… nghĩa là chủ thể hành động đã di chuyển đến một địa điểm và vẫn chưa quay trở lại vị trí cũ.

Ví dụ:

He has gone to the bank. He should be back soon.

Ông ấy đã đi đến ngân hàng (Ông ấy vẫn chưa quay về). Ông ấy sớm quay trở lại thôi.

… has/have been to….nghĩa là chủ thể hành động đã di chuyển đến một địa điểm nào đó vài lần. Nói cách khác, “has been to” nói về một kinh nghiệm.

Ví dụ:

He has been to London many times

(Ông ấy từng đến London vài lần)

I have been to Disneyland twice

(Tôi từng đến Disneyland hai lần rồi)

Has gone to và has been to có gì khác nhau?

HAS GONE TO và HAS BEEN TO đều chỉ về chuyển động trong thì hiện tại hoàn thành. Nhưng cũng có sự khác biệt giữa hai cụm từ này.

1. HAS/HAVE GONE TO: refers to someone who has gone to a place but has not yet returned. (ĐÃ ĐI NHƯNG CHƯA TRỞ LẠI)

Examples:

2. HAS/HAVE BEEN TO: refers to a place which someone has visited sometime in his life. In other words, "has been to" refers to an experience. (CHỈ MỘT NƠI MÀ NGƯỜI NÀY ĐÃ ĐẾN THĂM, DU LỊCH QUA)

Examples:

Ý của tác giả là em phải thấy được sự khác nhau giữa hai câu như sau:

○ He has gone to Da Nang.
○ He has been to Da Nang.

Sự khác nhau là gone to ý là hiện ông ấy đã đi Đà Nẵng rồi nhưng chưa về, vẫn ở Đà Nẵng hoặc đang trên đường đi. Ví dụ:

– Where is your father? Can I meet him?
(Ba của bạn đâu rồi? Tôi gặp ông ấy được chứ?)
– No. He has gone to Da Nang.
(Không được. Ông ấy đi Đà Nẵng mất rồi.)

Còn been to ý là ông ấy đã từng có đi Đà Nẵng trước đây, có thể là về rồi. Ví dụ:

– Does your father know the Hàn River bridge?
(Ba của bạn có biết cầu Sông Hàn không?)
– Sure. He has been to Da Nang.
(Có chứ. Ông ấy đã có đi Đà Nẵng rồi.)

Câu hỏi thứ hai của em:

“Bản chất của been là một động từ vậy trong cấu trúc thì hiện tại hoàn thành been đang là gì vậy thầy? have/has been không phải sẽ tạo cho câu 2 động từ hả thầy?”

Trong câu như trên “He has been to Da Nang.” thì has been là động từ to be mà chia ở thì hiện tại hoàn thành thôi.
Ta có cấu trúc của thì hiện tại hoàn thành là has/have + V3 (past participle). Mà been là V3 của to be.
Nói tóm lại, nó cũng như những câu hiện tại hoàn thành khác:

○ He has studied English.
○ They have lived in Nanoi.
○ I have eaten the cake.
○ Nga has written the letter.
…

Mà thay vì động từ là study, live, eat, write thì bây giờ là to be.

 They think that the owner of the house has gone abroad. *
