In our village, everyone will set up camps in the villages and compete against each other to see which camp is better, this year, our village will try to win the first prize. Not only that, in the villages will hold an entertainment competition and it will also be expected.

Vietnam is a country famous for its several holidays and festivals, especially Tet holiday. It takes place from the first day in the lunar calendar until the third day. Though occurring in a short period of time, Tet is believed to be the most significant and popular holiday in Vietnam. There are many special foods to prepare for Tet meals such as: banh chung, Vietnamese sausage, sticky rice and spring rolls. The food is thought to reflect Vietnamese people’s habit and custom as well as Vietnamese’s lifestyle. Besides, the meal has a variety of dishes such as fish, vegetable to show the hope for a lucky and prosperous new year. In terms of customs, children receiving red envelopes of money from the elderly and people visiting their relative’s houses and going to church are popular activities. Giving lucky money is believed to be able to bring children hope and health in the next year. Church and pagoda are the symbols of peace; therefore, individuals go there and pray for a lucky year. Traditionally, the house is decorated with peach flowers in the North and Ochna integerrima in the southern part of Vietnam. Moreover, the house as well as town are clear, decorative and beautiful as all of them are ready to start a new year. People have a cozy atmosphere and enjoy a happy time with their family’s members. It’s high time for people living in different parts of the country to gather and spend time together. Tet is an opportunity for everyone to come back home after much stress and pressure of studying and working. Tet is not just a holiday, it is a culture and habit of Vietnamese since its deep meaning is sacred and significant. In short, Tet includes not only happiness but also long-standing events in people’s souls.

Thank you for our class’ photo you sent me a few days ago. I was so glad to write for you and tell you about my feeling after I receive it.

That photograph made me remember my old teacher who taught us high school. She is slim with along hair and blue eyes. Do you remember her? Our English teacher, her name is Sara. I can’t forget that days when she played game with us in each class and we sang Animal songs together. I also remember that She was very sad when our class didn’t do homework and we felt so guilty with her. Then we studied English hard to fix our mistakes and she was so happy. One of my favorite singers is Michael Jackson – a worldwide music legend. I remember the first time when I watched his performances with my friend, I was immediately attracted. His songs were heavily emphasized on the beats and his charisma was amazing.

Michael Jackson could sing very well with his particular and unique tone. He was able to adapt to a lot of music trends, and actually he was the one who created some. From the funky 70s disco to the R&B-ish 2000s, Michael Jackson proved he could make great songs regardless of the style and trend. All of his lyrics are so powerful and have a lot of meaning layers that pulled me out of depression during my miserable times and helped me to shape who I am today. He wasn’t only famous for his music, but also his moonwalk dance move. This signature move always made his performances so impressive and was an icon of the 20th century.

In his career, he got a lot of prizes: the first prize of male pop vocalists, of records and of R&B singers on Grammy in 1984. I like Michael Jackson with all his songs, and how he inspired many generations. He was a gift to the world.

All of the special holidays in my country, I Tet the most. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday, Everyone prepares many things and decorates their house. I plant a lot of flowers in front of my house and buy many things such as clothes, foods ...

Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. hello ! how are you . what are you doing at Tet ?

-In my family , we decorate house and put plants and flowers in the living room. This year, we eat Tet in home and i met my cousins. And this year i and cousins make "Banh Chung'' with my mom and my aunt.In the evening , we watch firework together in the squre. My favorite hobby is playing football in spare time. After completing my home work at home, I generally spend my lot of free time in playing football. I was so interested to play football from my childhood however started learning to play well when I was 5 years old. I was in one class when I was 5 years old. My father asked to my class teacher in the PTM about my hobby of football. And my teacher told him that there is a facility of playing sports daily in the school from class 1 so you can admit your child. Now, I really enjoy playing football and paripate in the inter-school competitions
