To toot, to cut the cheese, or to fart are all funny ways to talk about something that everyone does:
passing gas! A normal person passes about half a liter of gas a day, which equals about 14 farts per
day. Lots of people are embarrassed by passing gas, but there is no need to feel this way. The first
step is to admit that everyone does it. After you face up to this fact, then you can really enjoy
learning some interesting facts about your gas.
There are several sources of gas. Gas in our intestines has to do with both the air we swallow and
the gas molecules in our blood. In addition, gas is also produced from chemical reactions and
bacteria living in our intestines. Nervous people usually have more gas for two reasons. They
swallow more air when they get nervous, and food usually goes through their digestive systems
faster, which means that the oxygen in the food cannot be absorbed quickly enough. Therefore, the
oxygen naturally found in the food goes into the intestines and becomes gas.
Another interesting fact is that a person's diet affects the stinkiness of his or her 15 gas. Foods with
a lot of sulfur in them--such as eggs, meat, and cauliflower - cause stinkier gas. On the other hand,
beans cause a lot of gas, but this gas isn't usually stinky because beans aren't high in sulfur. However,
they do contain a lot of sugars that bacteria in the intestines love. The bacteria eat the sugars and
produce gas. Finally, people wonder, "Where does gas go when you hold it in? Is this held gas
harmful?" Well, this gas will not poison you, but you may get a bad stomachache from the pressure.
The gas that you hold in is neither released nor absorbed. It moves back up into the intestines and
sooner or later comes out. It is not lost, just delayed. Now that you know some facts about gas, be
proud of yourself and say, "Yes, I cut the cheese!"

*) Talk about ways to save energy:
As you know, our energy has limitation, so we must save energy because of the following ways. Firstly, we have to turn off the electric appliances when we do not use them. Secondly, by using bicycle or public transports instead of motorbikes or cars. Finally, we should not throw all used papers and bottles. I suggest collecting them to reuse and recycle. Therefore, if we follow the above ways, we will not only save money but also conserve the energy.
Talk about the main of transport in the future:
I believe that in 20 years the cars we drive will not be that different. I think most of the cars will move away from traditional fuel sources, but for the most part, will remain unchanged. I think the biggest problem we face isn't changing the vehicle itself, but the infrastructure that it depends on. I believe in the next century we will see a change in the road systems which will allow for greater density of vehicles, reducing the amount of space needed for roads and highways. Americans want a vehicle that can go anywhere, off road, on a race track, or down the freeway, and I believe in the future we will have multiple cars for different uses. One car for cruising around town, probably a fully electric vehicle, and another for commuting and urban driving. For those who still crave a little dirt under their tires, I think there will always be traditional Jeeps, trucks, etc. We will always have a large need for construction equipment, and I don't see those vehicles changing, other than by converting to cleaner fuels. I also believe that before 2050, self-driving cars will be coming on the market. If a 'track' system, or some system of guidance were implemented on major thoroughfares and in urban areas, a commuter could simply pull onto the freeway and switch to autopilot. This would allow cars to flow in a much more organized fashion, allowing higher speeds, safer roads, and fewer emissions caused by road congestion. The other thing I see increasing is the use of air travel. If aircraft could be made easy enough to fly by the average Joe, with a licensing system equivalent to the DMV, I believe more people would travel by air. Whatever happens, I believe or streets will be safer to drive on, and our cars will be more fun to ride in.
