\(\log_2(x^2-2)+\log_{\frac{1}{2}}(5x-8)=0\)

\(\log_2(x^2-2)+\log_{2^{-1}}(5x-8)=0\)

\(\Leftrightarrow\log_2\left(x^2-2\right)-\log_2\left(5x-8\right)=0\)

\(\Leftrightarrow\log_2\left(x^2-2\right)=\log_2\left(5x-8\right)\)

\(\Rightarrow x^2-2=5x-8\)

\(\Leftrightarrow x^2-5x+6=0\Rightarrow\left[{}\begin{matrix}x=2\\x=3\end{matrix}\right.\)
