I am passionate about food and drink. If I can only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be fried chicken. I believe the popular fried chicken I am talking about is from South America. It is deep fried chicken covered in flour or breadcrumbs. A perfect piece of fried chicken should be juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. People love having fried chicken for lunch and dinner, sided with some French fries and a soda. Fried chicken is popular not only in America but also everywhere. Korean fried chicken is also very delicious. Korean usually have fried chicken with beer. I hope that fried chicken restaurants will always open so I can enjoy this dish whenever I want.

Okay so let me share with you about the dish I always choose to eat.
It is pork stir-fried with basil, or we can call it in its native language: Pad Kra Pao. Its name in the native language can show you where this dish comes from. It’s Thailand. Though it is one of Thailand’s famous dishes, it is very easy and fast to make. You know, I always eat it for my first meal when I visit Bangkok and this habit hasn’t changed for many years.
To cook this dish, it is very easy as it is combined with two simple main ingredients: ground pork and basil leaves. Besides, for seasoning, we only need to use some daily cooking spices like salt, pepper, chilies, and oyster sauce. After we have got enough ingredients, we will stir-fry the pork with the mentioned spices and add basil leaves at the end of the session before turning off the fire.
To be honest, I don’t eat it often, like every day because if I eat the same food every single day I will get fed up and start to hate it. Actually, I only eat it once or twice a month or whenever I have some friends over for a feast.
Well, with all my passion for cooking, it is my favorite food because first, it’s super easy to make. All we need are normal things that we can find in every market or small shop. Second, though the process is simple, its taste is amazing. It was my friends who gave me all the nice feedback every time they tried it. Third, this special dish reminds me of Thailand which is a very beautiful country with nice people.
