b/ \(=x^4-7x^2+9=x^4+x^3-3x^2-x^3-x^2+3x-3x^2-3x+9=x^2\left(x^2+x-3\right)-x\left(x^2+x-3\right)-3\left(x^2+x-3\right)=\left(x^2+x-3\right)\left(x^2-x-3\right)\)
