RULES (Quy tắc)

1 The past simple form of a verb is the same for all persons.

(Dạng quá khứ đơn của động từ giống nhau đối với tất cả mọi người.)

2 In negative sentences, we use didn’t + the base form of the verb.

(Trong câu phủ định, chúng ta sử dụng didn’t + dạng nguyên mẫu của động từ.)

3 In questions, we use (question word) did + subject + the base form of the verb.

(Trong câu hỏi, chúng ta sử dụng (từ nghi vấn) did + chủ ngữ + dạng nguyên mẫu của động từ.)

I travelled to the year 2010 and visited my grandparents’ house. I met my grandparents and cooked meals,

then we had lunch together. After that, I explored my hometown and saw my house. There weren’t many

cars on the street. There were a lot of trees, but there weren’t any factories. The air was fresh.
