Wedding ceremory

Getting maried is an important event in a vietnamese's life. The procedure of the ancient wedding ceremony procedures include the following steps: the search for a husband or wife, the proposal, the registration, and finally the wedding.

Depening on habbits of specific ethnic groups, marriage indudes various steps and related procedures, but generally there are two main ceremonies.

Begger: some time before the wedding, the groom and his family visit the bride and her family with round lacquered boxes known as betrothal presents composed of gifts of areca nuts and betel leaves, tea, cake, fruits, wines and other delicacies covered with red cloth and carried by unmarried girls or boys. Both families agree to pick a good day for wedding.

Wedding: guests would be invited to come to join a party and celebrate the couple's happiness. The couple should pray before the altar asking their ancestors for permission for their marriage, then to express their gratitude to both groom's and bride's parents for raising and protecting them. Guests will share their joy at a party later.

I used to watch a lot of TV programs but not anymore because I just don’t have enough time to watch TV. However, there is one that I’d like to talk about: it’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It’s a comedy-crime related program starring Andy Samberg, Terry Crews and many others.

The main theme surrounds a police precinct in Brooklyn and their detectives and officers. The format and content of each episode is pretty similar to other TV film series: episodic stories, serialized arcs. But what makes it amazing is that it’s simple and is a perfect combination between witty humor , friendship, love and amazing crime fighting stories. With Brooklyn nine nine, it’s so hard to figure out who your favorite character because they’re all so different and unique.

I don’t get a chance to watch it everyday because of work but when I have time, I will always binge watch the whole season. If I have to rank it, I’d put Brooklyn Nine-Nine as my number 1.

One of the reasons for me to like this show so much is that it’s very simple, no drama, no confused plot twists . It was funny and sweet and well-made. Not to mention Andy Samberg, one of the most talented comics of his generation, played the lead. They are currently on season 6 and I can’t wait to watch more of it.

Young people nowadays have a new form of entertainment in addition to typical ones, and that is the Internet. Only by looking at the computer screen or smart phone, we can reach to a vast and exciting world of Internet. The Internet is where people around the world share information, images and videos, so it is an interesting and almost endless space of entertaining. We can watch movies, listen to music, read books, play games, read newspapers and do many other things on the Internet. In addition, making friends and posting interesting moments on social networking sites is also an integral part of the Internet. Some top applications such as Facebook, Youtube, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, etc always attract a lot of users, and most of them are young people. However, it now seems that the Internet has consumed too much of our time, and we are limiting our forms of entertainment through the abuse of Internet. Many young people become passive or choose to separate themselves from the outside world, and they just looking for joy that comes from the phone screen. We do not deny the pleasures of the Internet, but we also need to combine other outdoor activities with surfing the web. Internet is a great form of entertainment, but in my opinion we should not replace our traditional entertainment activities with it.
