"It's time for summer holiday. What are you going to do during three months off? To me, I planed to do many things. I'm going to take a tour to another province with my family members in some days to relax. The tour is going to start on middle of June and lasting for a week. It must be tired a little bit but I like travelling and am exciting to wait for that. After the tour, I'm going back with my study. But they will be some extra subjects that I like. When I studied in school, I didn't have time to learn them. Can you guess what they are? You know, I'm going to learn drawing and kungfu. My parents also want me to learn English because they think it's good for me in the future. It's ok. I still have much time for that. I also like learning English. Besides studying, I'm thinking of finding a part time job. Most of my friends are searching for a job to earn some money. This will help us get more experiences and be independent too. I'm going to ask my parents for their pemission. But I think they will accept since it's useful for me. With this plan, I think I'll have a interesting and meaningful holiday. How about your plan?"

Ao Dai the a traditional dress of Vietnam. It is one of the symbols of Vietnam. When one hears about Vietnam, the word “Ao Dai” will most probably be mentioned.
Early versions of the “Ao Dai” date back to 1744 when Lord Vu Vuong of the Nguyen Dynasty decided both men and women should wear an outfit of pants and a gown that buttoned down the front. What wasn’t, until 1930 that “Ao Dai”appear similar to what it looks today. Now, Men wear it less, generally only on ceremonial occasions such as weddings or funerals. During the 1950s two tailors in Saigon started producing “Ao Dai”with raglan sleeves. This creates a diagonal seam running from the collar to the underarm. This style is still preferred today
“Ao Dai”is made individually to fit each customer's shape to create the most flasttering look. Its body-hugging top flows over wide trousers that brush the floor. The pants should reach the soles of the feet and flow along the floor. Splits in the gown extend well above waist height and make it comfortable and easy to move in.
Comfortability is always taken into account for fashions and beauty. Tailors must be skills so as to ensure the wearer has freedom of movement. Despite it being a long robe, “Ao Dai” is cool to wear. Synthetic or silk fabrics are best to use being they do not crush and dry quickly. For this reason “Ao Dai” is a practical uniform for daily wear.
The color can show the wearer's age and status. Young girls wear pure white, fully-lined outfits symbolizing their purity. Older but unmarried girls move into soft pastel shades. Only married women wear “Ao Dai”in strong, rich colors, usually over white or black pants. “Ao Dai”is rarely seen in places where manual work is practiced. In the nineties the Ao dai become popular again. It has become standard and common attire for female students as well and staff at offices and hotels. Ao dai nowadays is very popular with different designs and colors. “Ao Dai”has become the most preferred dress for formal occasions and traditionally ceremonies.

I like swimming. It is my favorite sport, for I know that it is healthy as well as a good chance for a person to exercise his or her body. Last Sunday morning, as the weather was fine, I went to Vung Tau with my family. It took us about two hours by car to arrive at our destination, and I felt very excited about it.
When our car reached the top of the cliff overlooking the Bay, I admired the golden sand of the long beach, the blue sky and water, and the splendid country surroundings which looked like an artist’s painting. We put on our bathing-suits and ran into the water. It was a very happy swim for me. We played ball, challenged each other in swimming a certain distance. Of course, I was always beaten by my bigger brothers but I was satisfied with my good effort. When we felt tired, we lay down on the beach to rest and to have some sunbath. At about noon, we returned to our tent and had lunch. About 3 p.m. we went once more into the water and swam till 5 p.m. Finally, we got ready to start for home. Everyone was delighted to have spent such a wonderful swim. I really enjoyed swimming very much that day.
