The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Tet Trung Thu, is one of the most important holidays in Vietnam. The festival usually lasts for about 2-3 days and takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month.

One of the most important events before Mid-Autumn Festival is the lion dance. The lion dance have a lot of color like: red , yellow,.. The lion dance often dances on the street or in the houses of the people. If accepted by the host, the "lion" will enter and start dancing as a wish of good luck. Vietnamese children love to watch this activity because It's very interesting and attractive .

Every year, when the Mid-Autumn Festival comes, a lot of funny masks and star lantern have a lot of color made carefully have many places in Vietnam ,   special  in the market and supermarket

When thinking about Tet Trung Thu the first thing that comes to my mind is moon cake, a popular traditional food of Vietnam. Sometime are made with flour, pork, eggs, peanuts, and chickpeas. Moon cake symbolizes happiness, wealth and longevity, so it is used as a gift and also for decoration purposes.

On the full moon day, family members gather to eat moon cakes, watch the most beautiful moon of the year, and chat.

Thus, I have just introduced to you the most important and attractive festival. And I wish you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival with friends and family.
