\(\frac{x}{3}=\frac{x+2}{5}\)
\(\Rightarrow5x=3\left(x+2\right)\)
\(\Rightarrow5x=3x+6\)
\(\Rightarrow2x=6\)
\(\Rightarrow x=3\)
